The Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti today he emphasized that the statements in Belgrade about murders and violence speak "about them and their imagination, not about Kosovo", commenting on the statement of the Serbian president Aleksandar Vuќi. that the Pristina authorities are preparing the liquidation of Serbs in the north of Kosovo, "Nova" reported.

"First, based on the victory last February, I am the prime minister of hope and progress, while in Serbia you have a president of fear and threats." When they talk about violence in Serbia, they talk about themselves, not about our republic, Kurti said.

Kurti added that Kosovo is for long-term peace and stability.

"We are for peace, security, long-term stability and we must not only protect sovereignty and territorial integrity, but also democracy, constitutionality, the rule of law and the progress of our country," explained the Kosovo Prime Minister.

As a reminder, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, warned yesterday that the Pristina authorities "under the guise of fighting crime" are preparing the liquidation of Serbs in the north of Kosovo.

Vucic rejected Pristina's claims that members of the Kosovo police were recently shot at in the territory of central Serbia and added that Serbia "will not allow anyone, not even NATO" to shoot at members of the Serbian army and police on the administrative line.

"Those who talk about neutralizing the alleged criminal structures in the north of Kosovo, I warn them not to even try to do something like that," said Vucic.

Commenting on the upcoming meeting with Albin Kurti on August 18 in Brussels, Vucic said that he was going to the meeting "in good faith" but that he was "very skeptical" that it was possible to achieve "any results".

"They don't want any compromise. All they have said so far is that they will impose their will. "For them, it is important that the Quinta supports them, and they are not interested in what the Serbs will say, much less what Belgrade will say," said Vucic.
