Kurti: The agreement must be implemented in its entirety, there is no possibility of a part being implemented and a part not
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti stated today that the agreement reached in Brussels and the "roadmap" for its implementation agreed in Ohrid are public documents and that their "accurate and rapid implementation" is needed.
"On April 4 in Brussels, the issue of implementation of the already agreed agreement will be discussed. There is an agreement, the agreement exists, it is clearly public to everyone and we need its proper and quick implementation. That is why a meeting will be organized with the main negotiators, in which Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi will participate," said Kurti after the meeting organized by the Council of Europe in Pristina.
He stated that the agreement must be implemented in its entirety and that there is no possibility of a part being implemented and a part not.
We shouldn't break the deal by taking the parts we want. The word "urgent" is used in the sentence that refers to the disappeared, that is, the forcibly disappeared, Kurti pointed out.
The director of the Office of the Government of Serbia for Kosovo, Petar Petkovic, stated today that in the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, specific steps for the implementation of the Ohrid agreement will be discussed.
"Our red lines are that Belgrade will never agree to the so-called Kosovo becoming a member of the UN and that Belgrade will neither de facto nor de jure recognize the so-called Kosovo. We can discuss and see about everything else that was agreed in the Annex, how we will implement it," said Petkovic.
