Ksenija Despotoska honestly about the influencer profession: Femininity is much more than a beautiful body
I do not aim for something to have a lot and to be someone. I want to be ordinary, satisfied and grateful for who I am
Influenza became a profession that conquered the world with lightning speed. As such it exists in many variants, and among the most popular "internet craftsmen" are fashion influencers. In conversation with Ksenija Despotoska (27) from Prilep we find out what inspired her to chart a professional path in the waters of this profession.

How do you swim in the waters of influence and how do you deal with a profession that depends solely on you? What is it like to be "your own master" or in your case "your own master"?
- To be honest, I swam, without knowing how to swim. Completely spontaneously without any plans, without any goals, but with a lot of love and commitment. When I was little, this profession did not exist and there was no room to dream that one day I would like to become an influencer, so even when I started I was not aware of what I was getting into. I just did what I love and I think that was the recipe for my success. People in me recognized the love I was investing in and reciprocated it. Today it is very different from the beginning, now the earnings are in play, which was not the case then, but also the popularity of the profession itself. The perception of us is a bit distorted, so now we need to be more careful, because you can easily swim in the wrong direction. Being "your own master" is truly a grace. You decide when, how and what you will do. But on the other hand, it requires much more sacrifice than working for someone. It's just all your responsibility.
How much of this type of work is due to a desire for creative expedition? Where does the "trend" end, and where does Ksenija begin?
- In my opinion, every person has different characteristics and has different desires. Ever since I was a child, I was constantly looking for a way to express my creativity. The desire to create from "nothing - something" and the constant influx of ideas and thoughts for their realization is a motivation for this type of work, normally with exceptions. I know a lot that they see this type of work solely for popularity and earnings. Before I got into this, I wanted to draw. When I went to high school we organized exhibitions and I always tried to get involved in such events, later I made jewelry by hand, so I constantly processed old clothes and shoes, pieces of furniture and the like. It was a journey of mine to get to what I do today and where I think I best express my creativity. Trends are fleeting, but each trend's own stamp is what remains and what describes you. Ksenija always starts by decorating and complementing her style with the passing trends.
What is the opposition Instagram - the real world?

I want to show a picture of the real, as opposed to the perfect "Instagram life". And let people know that we are all the same and no matter how much we present ourselves in the best light on social networks, our lives go through all stages. Comparisons are the worst thing we can afford, because disappointments follow. So just steal ideas and be inspired by us, but do not compare yourself, because if you find out the whole truth about a person, maybe your life is perfect. In a world where true values are lost, I want to keep them. Let me remind everyone that we make ourselves unhappy because we aim far away and get disappointed, instead of enjoying the ordinary things, which at the end of the day are the only things that can make us truly happy.
Your approach to fashion is a kind of presentation of character. Since when has it been your field of interest and how did you build the style?
- It is true that fashion is a kind of presentation of character. Through clothing we can express feelings and emotions, unconsciously or perhaps consciously. "Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak", is a sentence I always follow. My mother has instilled fashion in me since I was a baby. At the beginning she expressed her style through me, and later I took over and based on her I built my own style. Although, now we have completely different tastes for style, I think without its foundation, I would not be what I am today. I always followed fashion and wanted to have some pieces, but unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to do so, so my only choice was to grab the scissors and make something out of my mom or grandma… In the end it turned out quite "fancy" and how to was bought from a luxury store. Even then I received a lot of compliments from friends for the pieces, but often a lot of people did not like something, and I was delighted. It has always been important to me that I feel good and that I feel comfortable in what I wear, so I built my style. The need to stand out from the crowd, but still fit in, to be different, but at the same time the same. I have always wanted to express my femininity in an elegant and cultural way. To show that nudity is not what makes us attractive, and also that money does not buy style. I always try to follow trends, but my first priority is to maintain my authenticity.
Can you offer us instructions on how to dress properly according to the contours of the body? How does one actually learn to dress?
- When we understand that the clothes actually represent what kind of person we are, then we will start to choose more seriously and more carefully what we will wear. Because we can often want to attract someone's attention, but with the wrong choice of clothes, to achieve a counter effect and refuse that attention. Something that is quite pronounced among girls today, normally placed as a trend by world-famous starlets, which I do not like and do not support at all. It is nudity помалку Less and more provocative clothes, to emphasize everything that should and should not be. I do not know why women want to be observed and attracted attention with their body. It's nice to have a nice body and everyone should take care of it, but it should not always be first. Femininity is much more than a beautiful body. Femininity and attractiveness in a woman can be displayed without emphasizing any part of the body, to be completely covered with clothes, and to radiate and attract. So always look when choosing clothes, what message you want to send to those who see you and how you want to be seen.
How to properly choose clothes according to the contours of our body is to know our body. Let us always try to distract those parts that we do not want to be noticed, by emphasizing the parts that we personally like or with details that will leave more attention on our body. Clothes do not always have to be the most fashionable and look good on the eye, but fit your body.
