Krivokapic: I did everything to reach a thorough agreement with the SOC, but I doubt I will sign it
Montenegrin Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic said that he did everything he could regarding the Basic Agreement with the SOC, but he doubts that he will sign it, MINA reported part of his interview for RTCG, which will be broadcast tonight.
Krivokapic claims that there are no substantive changes in the Basic Agreement regarding the draft that was sent to the Patriarchate on July 21.
- The agreement can be signed until February 4, believe me I doubt that I will sign the agreement, precisely because of such statements. Such statements came to him from similar addresses and to the blissfully deceased Metropolitan Amfilohije. "I answered a question that this is a game of politicians from both Montenegro and Belgrade, as well as a number of commissioned political analysts," Krivokapic said.
The Montenegrin Prime Minister adds that the purpose of all this is for the savior of "Serbia and the Serbian Orthodox Church to appear in the name of someone else" after February 4.
Asked who it would be from Montenegro, Krivokapic said "someone from the Socialist People's Party".
