Criminal complaint against a resident of Skopje for unauthorized trade in waste

The police filed a criminal complaint against D.S. (43) from Skopje, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of the crime of "endangering the environment and nature with waste", informs the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

- On 15.02.2022, police officers from the Economic and Computer Crime Unit, inspectors from the State Market Inspectorate and the State Environmental Inspectorate carried out control of an improvised and unregistered place for the purchase and sale of secondary raw materials in a yard on "Brsjachka Buna" street ” in Shuto Orizari-Skopje, the announcement says.

During the control, as informed by the Ministry of the Interior, they found the reported person illegally trading in waste without a registered legal entity and without possessing a Permit for Activity - Storage and Treatment of Waste, issued by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.
