Kovacevski also met with Borisov: Use the initiated process to restore trust
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Northern Macedonia Dimitar Kovacevski, in addition to the program for his official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria, held several other activities, including a meeting with Boyko Borisov and the leadership of the GERB party.
Kovacevski stressed at the meeting that the Government of Northern Macedonia is ready for visible and measurable results of real interest of citizens who focus on restoring trust between the two peoples to reaffirm friendly relations and encourage political dialogue to resolve sensitive issues that are opened between the two countries.
For that purpose, at today's joint session, said Prime Minister Kovacevski at the meeting with Borisov, working groups were formed for several separate areas that established action plans for the most important priorities, such as Corridor 8.
The Prime Minister Kovacevski at the meeting with the President of GERB Boyko Borisov stressed that he expects this party, although now in opposition, to continue with the policies to support Northern Macedonia in its aspirations for EU membership.
The President of GERB Borisov emphasized that the initiated process should be used to overcome the differences in order to restore trust as a contribution to the European integration of Northern Macedonia.
