The Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Ljupчоo Nikolovski will attend the 55th International Wine Fair in Verona, at a joint stand "Wine vision by Open Balkan" of North Macedonia with Serbia and Albania

As informed by the government press service, Kovacevski will have a meeting with the President of Serbia. Aleksandar Vuќi. and the Albanian ceasefire Edi Rama, with a focus on the Open Balkans initiative. After the meeting, it is planned to hold a press conference.

Kovacevski, Vucic and Rama will attend the presentation of the wines from the three countries at the joint stand "Wine vision by Open Balkan" at the "VinItali" fair.

The Republic of North Macedonia is participating in this year's Wine and Spirits Fair in Verona with over 60 types of our highest quality Macedonian wine, with the presence of 14 Macedonian wineries and three top sommeliers. The fair is a gathering of domestic and international wine producers from all over the world who want to present themselves at one of the world's most prestigious fair events dedicated to wine and the cultivation of wine culture, according to the Government.

The fair offered the opportunity for wine importers and distributors to meet and collaborate with top Italian and international wine producers, and for wine lovers a four-day event "Vinitaly and the City" was designed, during which, at historical locations all over Verona will be able to taste and talk about the wine.

Under the name "Vinitaly Universe", the organizers this year provide professional training and training, participation in competitions and awards, as well as access to the digital platform "Vinitaly Plus", which allows the participants of the fair to stay in touch even after the end of the event. the statement said.

Last year the "VinItali" fair hosted over 4.500 exhibitors from all over the world, more than 15.000 wine labels from more than 40 countries were presented. The fair was visited by over 100.000 wine lovers and representatives of the business community, of which over 25.000 buyers, distributors and importers from 139 countries.
