Kovacevski has finished his visit to Serbia: There are no more open issues between Skopje and Belgrade

The Minister of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia, Dubravka Gjedović, today sent the delegation of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, led by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, who was on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia, to the "Nikola Tesla" airport in Belgrade.

On Friday, Kovacevski met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Parliament Speaker Vladimir Orlic.

At the meetings of the prime ministers and ministers of the two governments, three memoranda were signed, including the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on cooperation in the field of mining and energy, which was signed by the Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi and the Minister Dubravka Gjedović, the memorandum of understanding between the two governments on measures to improve the movement of people and goods across the common state border signed by the ministers of the interior, Oliver Spasovski and Bratislav Gasić, and the memorandum of cooperation for an interoperable electronic system for the collection of road tax, as part of the Open Balkans process, which was signed by the Minister of Transport and Communications, Blagoj Bocvarski, with the Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesic.

The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, at the meeting with Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, assessed that the relations between the two countries are the best in recent history, while Prime Minister Kovacevski emphasized that there are no more open issues between Serbia and North Macedonia and that the partnership between the two countries is an example for the region.
