The Government's press service revealed details of today's telephone conversation with the Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski with the technical prime minister of Bulgaria, Galab Donev, whose focus, as previously announced by the Bulgarian government, were the current topics in the relations between the two countries.
Kovacevski emphasized in the conversation that, according to the constitutional arrangements, the Republic of North Macedonia guarantees the realization of the rights of every citizen living in the country.
"In the context of the events and the upcoming celebration of the anniversary of the birth of Gotse Delchev, it was emphasized that the activities of individuals, regardless of whether they are citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria or the Republic of North Macedonia, which will be in the direction of preventing the peaceful and safe celebration of the holiday , will be sanctioned accordingly, as the Bulgarian side is expected to act as well", the government statement said.
"In order for the upcoming celebration of the 151st anniversary of the birth of Gotse Delchev to pass in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Security Agency, in coordination with the relevant services in the Republic of Bulgaria, are responsible for provide all the conditions for a dignified celebration of this great day", added the Government.
