I assure the Macedonian public that the Ministry of the Interior will do everything in accordance with the laws and the Constitution to celebrate Gotse Delchev's birthday in a dignified and peaceful way and the safety of all citizens in the country will be guaranteed, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski said at the parliamentary questions session, answering a question by MP Antonio Miloshoski from VMRO-DPMNE.

Milososki asked whether the Government, in accordance with Article 11 of the Law on Foreigners, considered the recommendation for the declaration of persona non grata to several citizens of neighboring Bulgaria and one member of parliament, and which persons they consider to be a risk.

The Prime Minister said that a foreigner who intends to stay in the country for up to 90 days or for any period up to 180 days, may be denied entry to the country if he is a person for whom a prohibition notice has been issued in the passenger control system. for entry if it represents a threat to public order, national security, international relations of the state or a threat to public health.

- According to the reports and analyzes that the security services have and that the Ministry of the Interior has, on the day of the commemoration and in the days before, the Ministry of the Interior will act according to the information and data it has from its own sources and normally from the services and according to the conclusion of the Government, The Ministry of the Interior should be in charge of ensuring a peaceful and dignified celebration of February 4, Gotse Delchev's birthday - Kovacevski said.

According to him, the event is characterized as a high-risk event in terms of statements coming from both inside and outside, and according to that, the Ministry of the Interior is obliged, according to its procedures and the law, to organize a peaceful celebration, and for that purpose, the Ministry of the Interior is already taking the necessary actions.

- Regarding the events that occupied the public after the event in Ohrid and the rhetoric after that, what I can say is that in North Macedonia there is no anti-Bulgarian hatred and hysteria as someone wants to present. There are responsible persons for the last incidents and all the others, these are the acts of individuals and the entire state and nation cannot be blamed for the actions of several million individuals. North Macedonia takes all actions in accordance with the Constitution, laws and procedures in the competent ministries and bodies that are not part of the Government and continues to be a constructive partner in the region and in the EU - Kovacevski said.
