In tonight's appearance on "Click Plus" on TV21, the president of the Constitutional Court, Darko Kostadinovski, said that it is not true that the court abolished the "balancer".

Kostadinovski said that many lies and manipulations were told about that case as well as about the initiatives related to the Law on the Use of Languages.

"And again lies and manipulations." I am not addressing the politicians, I want to assure the citizens of our decisions, which do not have any ethnic, political, social premises. Our decision on the so-called balancer, I guess they didn't read it, if they had, they would have located some such element, but no, such a thing does not exist. Nothing will happen. How was the balancer discontinued? For such a thing, the Constitution needs to be changed, and the Constitutional Court cannot change it, and fair representation exists in the Constitution, and will exist until the constitution maker decides otherwise. We only helped the legislator to have a framework for moving. We have not abolished any right, lie and untruth. "No one questions the Albanian language, it is a lie and manipulation that it will be abolished," Kostadinovski said.

The President of the Constitutional Court also said that constitutional judges are exposed to threats and political pressure and that "it is high time for politicians to take their hands off the judiciary, otherwise it will not be good".

"I thought I would complain to the EU about the pressure exerted on the Constitutional Court for a long period of time. Constitutional judges are exposed to threats and even political pressure. How does it sound to you when someone says that the Constitutional Court wants destabilization", Kostadinovski said.

He does not agree with the statement of Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski that nothing happened on Wednesday.

"It is not true that nothing happened on Wednesday. Yesterday, the Constitutional Court made a decision that means the continuation of the procedure. So we continue the procedure. It has been started and that procedure will be finished. "Preparatory sessions are a very important tool in the work of the Constitutional Court, especially for cases that are complicated and extremely complex, and the consequences of possible decisions can have implications," says Kostadinovski.
