Special units of the Kosovo Police withdrew from the administrative border crossing Jarinje to Serbia this afternoon, and earlier a truck with a billboard reading "Welcome to the Association of Serb Municipalities" was removed from the scene.

The tents in which the Serbs who blocked the crossing stayed for two weeks have also been removed, dissatisfied with Pristina's decision not to allow vehicles with Serbian license plates to enter Kosovo.

The road Jarinje-Kosovska Mitrovica is unblocked and passable, occur Serbian media.

The unblocking of the road was waited until around noon, although it was previously announced that it would be passable at eight o'clock this morning.

This morning, under an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina to defuse border tensions, KFOR units arrived at the Jarinje crossing and troops were deployed in the border area.
