The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, told KTV today that Kosovo "cannot sacrifice peace and its sovereignty for the sake of international interests".

According to him, the goal of the international community is to protect Serbia from the influence of Russia, and for that he asks the Kosovo government to sacrifice its sovereignty.

"The government of Kosovo will not sacrifice its sovereignty for the sake of international interests, for Serbia to get out of the Russian orbit," said Bislimi.

He assessed that the international community, if it wants to punish Kosovo, will do so regardless of what Kurti's government decides.

"If there is a will of the international community to impose punitive measures on Kosovo, they will be imposed regardless of our decisions," said Bislimi.
