The public farewell to Russian opposition leader Alex Navalny, who died in the prison colony on February 16, will be held at the end of this working week, that is, before March 1. The information comes from the messages of Navalny's spokeswoman, Kira Jarmish.

"We are looking for a hall for public farewell to Alexei. Time: the end of this working week. If you have suitable premises, contact us", Jarmish wrote on the social network "X".

The body of Alexei Navalny was handed over to his mother Lyudmila Navalny on the ninth day after the politician's death, on February 24. Russian authorities have previously refused to hand over the body, citing an ongoing investigation.
