- I was completely broken when I heard this terrible news about my Ray. It has happened to me, everywhere in the world, that people tell me that their favorite movie is Goodfellas. - Ray was my partner in the crime of Shades of Blue… the first thing that comes to my mind is that he was so kind to my children. Ray was the epitome of a tough guy who's soft on the inside… I guess that's what makes him such an attractive actor to watch. The original Goodfella. We shared some intense moments of filming those three years! When I first heard him take over the work of Shades of Blue, I was thrilled, and the first time we went to the set to record our first scene, there was an electric spark and mutual respect and we both knew it would be good. We enjoyed filming our scenes together and I was happy to have him there to work and study. Like all artists, he was complicated, honest and very emotional. As a cruel nerve, he was so approachable and so close in his acting and will always happily remember our time together. We lost a great man today… Rest in peace Ray… It's very sad to lose you.
