Cocaine and marijuana found in a man from Skopje, investigation launched
The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Skopje issued an Order to conduct an investigative procedure against a 21-year-old man from Skopje, for whom there is reasonable suspicion that he committed a crime - Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors from Article 215 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
- In a wooden closet in the attic of the building where he lives, the suspect, a 21-year-old man from Skopje, kept narcotic drugs - cocaine and marijuana - for sale without authorization. During the search on July 4, police officers found a total of 4,79 grams of cocaine and 25,01 grams of marijuana, packed in several smaller packages intended for resale. A digital scale with traces of narcotic drugs was also found with the suspect, according to the announcement from the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The competent public prosecutor submitted to the judge for preliminary proceedings at the Basic Criminal Court Skopje a proposal for determining the measure of house arrest for the suspect, because there is a risk of escape, as well as the possibility of the suspect repeating the crime.
