Whoever recommends a worker can get a scooter! Employers' creativity knows no bounds

As the labor market runs out of workers, so does the creativity of employers, who offer monetary rewards for bringing in a worker, welcome bonuses, and even 14 regular salaries during the year.

An unusual advertisement has arrived from the German cable manufacturing company "Kromberg & Schubert": Whoever applies for employment and shares the advertisement with his friends, can participate in a prize game in which the main prize is a scooter. As the labor market runs out of workers, so does the creativity of employers, who offer monetary rewards for bringing in a worker, or various benefits to attract workers, from various product packages to use of spa centers and the 14th salary.
The "Kromberg and Schubert" (KSHMK) "raffle" lasts until October 1.

"The main prize is a scooter, and all you have to do to be in the running for the scooter is to apply for potential employment in our company by filling out the form available at www.aplikacii.mk, and then the link that will be provided to you at email to share with your loved ones, so that they can also apply through such a link and become a potential winner of the prize. The scooter will be given to the one whose link will be used the most times by other participants for their application. The promotion will run until 1.10.2024/XNUMX/XNUMX," the company announced on its website, where it was announced that to participate in the sweepstakes, the code for the scooter should also be scanned, which is also posted on their site.

The company says that they want to give a chance to many more families from Bitola, Prilep, Resen, Demir Hisar and the region to take care of themselves and ensure security and stability for themselves and their families.

"Kromberg and Schubert" was in action a month ago to secure workers. Then he published an announcement for a bonus for each new employee, as well as a bonus for each recommended new employee of 6.000 denars.

Bonuses for new hires began to be given a year ago, and the practice was started by "Moda" from Svetinikola, which offered 5.000 to anyone who brings a new employee to the company. According to statements at the time, the measure did not have any effect.

In addition to employee onboarding bonuses, there are companies that offer various cash or other welcome rewards. In several advertisements, we could notice that it was emphasized that the company provides a hot meal and a ticket from JSP for transportation. Some of the companies also offer private health insurance.

"Do you want to enrich your professional and life experience within a company that enables professional and personal progress, private health insurance, while ensuring a balance between work and private life?", reads the advertisement of Ohrid's "Kostal".

"Macedonian Telecom", on the other hand, for the future engineer, in addition to private health insurance, also offers a business phone, benefits from using the services of MKT, as well as a free fitness club and yoga within the company.

In the employment advertisement of "Sara Fashion", however, it is written that the most successful during the year receive the 13th and 14th salary.

"DM drugstores" offers 14 regular salaries in the job advertisement for a clerk in the finance department!

The Employers' Organization says that the situation is alarming.

- In the past years, unemployment has been decreasing, but this is not the result of the opening of new job positions or, in turn, a change in the attitude about the employability of people looking for work, but is due to the aging of the nation, the emigration of young people. A big challenge for our economy is the unemployment of young people, who are the most capable of working, but with the least desire to work - Vladanka Trajkoska, president of the Organization of Employers of Macedonia, told "Sloboden Pechat".

The number of unemployed people who are actively looking for work, which means that they report to the Employment Agency every month, was 101.510 people in June. Of them, 60.863 are without education or with primary education, which is even 60 percent!
