The alleged leaders of the Skalja clan, Igor Dedovic (43) and Stevan Stamatovic (43), were killed in Athens last night in a crowded restaurant, where they had dinner with their wives and children.

According to the writings of Greek media, last night liquidation of the alleged leaders of the Skalja clan Igor Dedovic and Stevan Stamatovic happened in less than a minute, conducted by professionals. At that moment, a woman was injured and immediately taken to hospital.

Dedovic and Stamatovic have long been known to the police services, writes "CDM".

An arrest warrant was issued for Igor Dedovic, 43, who along with brothers Igor and Jovica Vukotic as one of the leaders of the Skalja clan, at the end of March 2016 for attempted double murder of Vojin Stupar and Milos Radonjic, both close to the Kavak clan. , the biggest competitors of the scallops. Stupar then sustained severe life-threatening injuries, while Radonjic remained unharmed.

Investigators have linked Dedovic to drug trafficking. Dedovic once owned the Ponto pizzeria chain, and left Montenegro a few days after being wounded in a shootout in August 2008.

Vojin Stupar, allegedly shot by Dedovic, Vukotic and Sakovic, is the son-in-law of Igor Bozovic, one of the leaders of the Kavak clan who is also on the run, while Milos Radonjic was arrested in Croatia a few months ago with false documents.

Stevan Stamatovic is considered the leader of the clan from Zagorica, a criminal group from Podgorica that many consider to be a branch of the clan from Skaljari. Stamatovic is accused of organizing a criminal group aimed at killing Radojica Zekovic, who is allegedly close to the Kavac clan. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison in November last year for the crime. Stamatovic was on the run and was being tried in absentia.

Stamatovic, who was killed in neighboring Serbia, became known to the public as part of the investigation into the murder of Aleksandar Stankovic, known as Sale Mutavi, on October 13, 2016, because he was allegedly in Belgrade that day and returned to Podgorica shortly afterwards. He denied, however, that he had anything to do with the killing of Saleh Mutawi. Stamatovic was also linked to weapons found in Jajinci, near then-Prime Minister and now Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

One of the closest associates of those killed, Dedovic and Stamatovic, is Milic Minja Sakovic, who is at large in Montenegro. The Vukotic brothers remain among the leaders of the scoundrels, with Jovica Vukotic being held in extradition custody in Belgrade, while Igor Vukotic is on the run and an international arrest warrant has been issued for him.

In April 2019, one of the biggest blows to the Skalja clan was the killing of Veselin Vesko Vukotic, father of Jovica and Igor Vukotic. Vesko Vukotic was killed in Kotor in front of his house. That murder has remained unsolved to this day.

The Kotor clans previously acted as one criminal group. However, at the end of 2014, about 300 kilograms of cocaine disappeared in Valencia, after which there was a division in the clan, which was divided into "scallops" and "Kavchani". The killings soon began, Serbian "B92" writes.

More than 2015 people have been killed in the war between the Shkalja and Kavak clans since February 40.
