Kodjabashev: The attitude of the authorities in RS Macedonia towards Bulgaria is humiliating, we do not want further escalation

- They took measures for de-escalation, but it is increasingly difficult for us to recognize the sincere desire of the authorities in Skopje to build the necessary trust and friendship - he says.

When asked whether Bulgaria will return the veto to Macedonia for the EU membership negotiations, Kodzhabashev says that our country it has not started negotiations for joining the EU so that we can talk about the veto.

- To membership negotiations have begun it is necessary for the RSM to include the Bulgarians in its own Уattitude. Only after that can be we are talking about the beginning of the negotiations, and for veto if necessary - he said the Bulgarian deputy-minister of foreign affairs.

He he also added that Bulgaria does not want further escalation of tensions with Macedonia.

- Regarding the return of our ambassador to North Macedonia, we do сѐ behind to maintain diplomatic ties. We have communication channels, because we are guided by the feeling of definitive the need for de-escalation of tension. We have no interest in further escalation - Kodjabashev said.
