The book Hannah's Suitcase educates children about the Holocaust

In memory of the victims of the Holocaust and the fateful Crystal Night (November 9), which is considered the beginning of the pogrom and crime against Jews across Europe, the Holocaust Memorial Center of the Jews of Macedonia promoted the book "Hannah's Suitcase" by Karen Levine.

The award-winning children's book by Canadian author and journalist Karen Levine is published in Macedonian by Libby, part of Ars Lamina - Publications, and was published in cooperation with the Holocaust Fund of the Jews of Macedonia. The publication is part of the "Chitanki" edition and is intended for children over the age of 10, through which, in a subtle educational way, they will be educated about the difficult fate of the Jews and the Holocaust.

"Hannah's Suitcase" is an unusual true story that brings to life the history of the Holocaust and aims to educate young readers about this dark period, when one of the greatest crimes in history was committed against a nation.

Karen Levine (born 1955) is a Canadian radio producer and writer. For his radio documentaries "Lost Innocence: Children of World War II" and "Neighborhood Murder" he has won two Pibodi Awards, in 1989 and 2001. He has worked for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) for over 30 years.
