Clinton, 75, who was president of the United States from 1993 to 2001, was admitted to Irvine University Hospital in California, south of Los Angeles, on Tuesday night with a blood infection.
His spokesman wrote on Twitter yesterday that Clinton would stay in hospital overnight to continue receiving intravenous antibiotics and would likely be released today, adding that all health indicators were moving in the right direction.
