The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, is skeptical about how the war in Ukraine will end.

In an interview with BBC Wales, Klitschko said that he "doesn't see the light at the end of the tunnel", but hopes that the war will not last for years.

According to him, it is no longer possible to reach a compromise with Russia to end the war, because as he says, "it is not a compromise if you give a part of the territory of Ukraine."

"We are not only defending our children, our families. We defend yours too. All from the West," he says.

He says the weapons from Ukraine's allies are "enough for now," but that could change, he said.
