The ground floor between the river Lepenec and the treatment plant Volkovo in the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov will be arranged and landscaped. For that purpose, at the next Session of the Council of the City of Skopje will be discussed the draft-decision for establishing inter-municipal cooperation between the City of Skopje and the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov.

If such a decision is voted by the Council of the City of Skopje, cooperation will be established between the City and the Municipality for arranging and greening the space between the river Lepenec and the treatment plant Volkovo and it will regulate the manner, conditions, financing and other issues to achieve a common purpose and interest.

The total value for the realization of the inter-municipal cooperation is 68.500.000 denars including VAT.

- The City of Skopje will participate in the realization of this cooperation with geodetic surveys, preparation of project documentation, clearing of the terrain, construction of pedestrian areas, construction of wells for groundwater irrigation, installation of urban equipment, horticultural landscaping and planting seedlings, for provided financial resources from the Budget of the City of Skopje for 2022 in the amount of 67 million denars, of which 37 million denars from sub-program LAA 482 920 and from sub-program JM0 482930, in the amount of 30 million - is stated in the draft decision for establishing inter-municipal cooperation.

The Municipality of Gjorce Petrov, on the other hand, will participate in the realization of this cooperation with the construction of urban equipment - playgrounds and props and lighting project, in a total value of 1.500.000 denars provided funds from the Budget of the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov.

- For the realization of this decision, the Mayor of the City of Skopje will sign an agreement with the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov in the form and content prescribed by the Law on Inter-Municipal Cooperation. The City of Skopje will implement the activities envisaged by this Decision through PE "Parks and Greenery" - Skopje and through PE "Streets and Roads" - Skopje - it is further stated in the draft decision for establishing inter-municipal cooperation between the City of Skopje and the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov for ground floor arrangement. and greening of the area between the river Lepenec and the treatment plant Volkovo in the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov, which will be discussed at the next Session of the Council of the City of Skopje.
