The House of Culture "Biljana Belichanec" in Kisela Voda Municipality will be renovated
The House of Culture "Biljana Belichanec" in the Municipality of Kisela Voda will soon begin to be rehabilitated, announced by the local self-government, from where they inform that this important building is almost non-functional due to irregular maintenance.
- Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski today signed the Agreement with Ramiz Redzepi, director of the Bureau for Regional Development, through which the Ministry of Local Self-Government granted Kisela Voda Municipality funds in the amount of 2.294.571,00 denars. With a financial partnership between the local self-government and this institution, construction work will be carried out to repair the damage caused by the non-maintenance of the building, which made it almost completely non-functional. The construction works will be able to start after the tender procedure, the announcement of which is the next step of the Municipality of Kisela Voda - this municipality of Skopje informs.
As a reminder, the former cinema in Kisela Voda was located in this building. After the thorough renovation in 2015, it was converted into a House of Culture, which was then named "Biljana Belicanec".
- However, due to certain legal disputes, it was handed over to the Municipality only six years later, and in the meantime, due to the negligent management of the previous municipal authorities, this place could not be used for what was intended, to be the center of culture at the local level - informed by Kisela Voda Municipality.
As announced by the local self-government, with the renovation of the House of Culture "Biljana Beličanec", cultural manifestations will be available not only to the residents of Kisela Voda, but also to the municipalities of Zelenikovo, Sopishte, Studenichani and Aerodrom, which do not have a cinema and a house of culture, so precisely because of this, the authorities believe that the whole project will have a wider, regional dimension.
- In addition, the Macedonia park is located next to this building, and a closed market will be built in the immediate vicinity, which will not only provide citizens with quality conditions for the purchase of fruits and vegetables, but will also have a modern exterior, so in addition to improving the functionality. , the aesthetics of this part of the city is also being improved - it is stated in the announcement of Kisela Voda Municipality.
