Kiwi is a very tasty fruit with a sour taste, which is healthy to eat. This fruit with characteristic fruits is rich in many important trace elements and minerals, as well as vitamins A, B and C.

Interestingly, few know that just one kiwi a day meets the daily requirement of vitamin C. It also helps improve the body's immunity and resistance to
different types of infections.

Cholesterol in the body has an important role for the work of the organs, because it is part of many important processes in the body. It can be divided into good and bad, and high levels of the latter can lead to diseases of the cardiovascular system. To control the level of cholesterol in the blood, doctors prescribe various medications, as well as diets to reduce it. Drug therapy can be replaced by folk medicine, in which many fruits and vegetables help reduce high cholesterol.

One of the popular ways is to eat kiwi regularly. Actinidine is a unique enzyme contained in this fruit, and at the same time has the ability to reduce harmful cholesterol. In addition, kiwi contains cellulose, which helps burn fat and lower blood cholesterol. However, people who have gastritis due to the increased level of acidity in the kiwi, as well as people who have other problems with the gastrointestinal tract should be careful when consuming it.

Use it to soften meat

Apart from desserts, kiwi is used in cooking to soften fish and meat, thanks to the enzyme actinidine, which makes meat softer. Apart from being a fresh fruit, it can also be eaten processed. It is usually dried and used to make various syrups, sweets, creams, marmalades, salads, ice creams and other dishes and drinks. Kiwi is used to make diet juices, non-alcoholic cocktails in combination with other fruits, alcoholic cocktails
containing bourbon, campari and tequila. It is also used to decorate cakes, pancakes, fruit salads, creams and more.

How to easily peel it

What is a problem for many is the peeling of the kiwi. It has a specific hairy and very thin crust. The more mature it is, the harder it is to peel, because it contains the highest percentage of water. When you decide to eat kiwi there are several options for peeling, but which is the easiest, without damaging the fruit?

One of the variants is to peel the bark with an ordinary knife or fruit knives and eat what is left of it, because this damages the fleshy part. Another variant is also well known, and is made with a spoon. First, the kiwi is cut in half and then carefully passed along the bark with a spoon, to separate the fleshy part. And the last variant is a bit strange, but suitable if you use kiwi for fruit salad. And for this method, you first need to cut the kiwi in half, and then put the whisk of a mixer inside and turn it once, so that the crust separates from the fleshy part. This way you also get kiwi cut into pieces.
