Kiplagat and Cherotich from Kenya, winners of the Skopje Marathon, Ivanovski second place

Today on The Skopje Marathon which took place on the streets of the capital was dominated by competitors from Kenya.

The Kenyan triumphed in the men's competition Onesmus Kiplimo Kiplagat with a time of 02:18.19 hours, ahead of the Macedonian competitors Dario Ivanovski (02:33.07) and Nikola Ilievski (02: 43.28).

Among the women, the first place was the Kenyan woman Catherine Cherotich with a time of 02:38.48 hours, in front of our representatives Biljana Kiradzieva (03:04.49) and Tamara Popov (03:23.00). You can see all the results HERE

The Skopje Marathon, which is traditionally organized by The Sports Union of the City of Skopje, is organized with the support of numerous sports clubs and associations, and under the auspices of The City of Skopje, Agency for Youth and Sports и Office of the European Union.

The city of Skopje hosted the Skopje Marathon for the 18th time, in which over 8500 participants from 47 countries around the world were registered this year.
