The Chinese government said today that more than one billion people in the country have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or more than 70 percent of its population.
The world's most populous country (1,4 billion people), where the new coronavirus causing the contagious disease emerged in late 2019, has injected a total of 2,16 billion doses of vaccine since September 15, a Chinese health ministry spokesman said. Mi Feng.
