Kim Kardashian helped evacuate Afghan footballers to Britain
The non-profit American association "Tzedek" in cooperation with the British football club and reality star Kim Kardashian helped the members of the Afghan women's football team to travel to Great Britain, reports "AP".
Moshe Margaret, the founder of Tzedek, had previously worked with 41-year-old Kardashian on US criminal justice reform.

Kim and her brand "SKIMS" financed a plane carrying members of the national football team and their families.
"Just an hour after our Zoom chat, I received a message saying Kim wanted to fund that flight," Margaret revealed.
The plane was carrying more than 30 teenagers and their families. Since Kabul fell to the Taliban in August this year, Britain and other countries have been evacuating thousands of Afghans. The Taliban government has severely restricted women's education and freedom, with hundreds of female athletes fleeing the country for fear of their own safety.

"Many of these families fled their homes when the Taliban took power. Their houses were set on fire. Some of their family members have been killed or abducted by the Taliban. "So the danger and the level of stress were very high, so it was very important for them to leave Afghanistan," said Khalida Popal, a former captain of the Afghan women's national team who led the evacuation of the athletes.
