Kiev: Successful attack on Russian air base in Crimea
Ukraine's security service and navy launched an overnight attack on the Saki airbase in Crimea, inflicting "serious damage" on Russian soldiers, according to a Ukrainian intelligence source.
At the same time, the Russian military announced that it had destroyed 19 Ukrainian drones over Crimea and the Black Sea, but gave no details of any casualties or damage.
Overnight, Russian air defense forces shot down two drones that were targeting fuel and energy facilities in central Russia's Oryol region, Governor Andrei Klitschko announced on Telegram.
