Eliud Kipchoge from Kenya broke his own world record at The Berlin Marathon, in which 45.000 contestants participated.

The incredible 37-year-old Kenyan ran the 42.195-meter race in two hours, one minute and nine seconds, breaking the record by exactly 30 seconds.

From the very start of the race, it was clear that the world's best marathon runner would have a great time because he ran the first 10 kilometers in a great time of 28:23 minutes.

At the very finish, thousands of fans in Berlin, cheering him along the track, realized that he could break the record, so they cheered loudly, and Kipchoge eventually managed to set a new world record.

By the way, Kipchoge is the only marathoner in the world who managed to run a marathon in less than two hours, but he did it on a circular course and accompanied by other runners who gave him the rhythm he needed to finish the race under two hours.
