144 drivers in Skopje were fined, 19 motorcyclists

Ministry of Interior said that during yesterday on the territory of The City of Skopje a total of 144 measures were imposed. Among those fined are drivers who used a mobile phone, 19 sanctions for offenses committed by motorcyclists, and ninety measures for driving without a driver's license.
They have been pronounced six measures for driving under the influence of alcohol, five sanctions for passing a closed signal (red light), six measures for illegal overtaking and detour, four sanctions for illegal rearrangement…
- Intensified action controls continue. We appeal to the citizens to respect the traffic rules and regulations in order to increase the traffic safety and together to contribute to safer roads, said the Ministry of Interior.
