120 drivers fined in Skopje

A total of 120 measures were imposed yesterday on the territory of the City of Skopje in traffic controls carried out by the Department of Internal Affairs Skopje. Of these, there are nine sanctions for driving more than the permitted speed, six measures for driving without a driver's license, five sanctions for passing a closed signal (red light).

As the Ministry of the Interior announced, six measures were imposed for using a mobile phone while driving, six sanctions for technically defective and unregistered vehicles, three measures for driving under the influence of alcohol, four sanctions for not giving way to pedestrians...

- Traffic controls continue in the coming days. We appeal to the citizens to respect traffic rules and regulations in order to increase traffic safety and together contribute to safer roads, says the statement from the Ministry of the Interior.
