"Catargate": Two MEPs lost their immunities

The European Parliament decided today to lift the immunities of MEPs Andrea Cozzolino and Mark Tarabella, related to the investigation that became known as "Cathargate".

The EP's announcement states that the decision is at the request of the Belgian authorities who are investigating the case.

As reported by "BBC", a few days ago the committee for legal affairs of the EP unanimously supported the request of the investigators.
