Kasper Rud is the winner of the tournament in Barcelona, triumphing in the final over Stefanos Tsitsipas from Greece. Rud won after 91 minutes of play with a score of 7:5, 6:3.

The Norwegian tennis player won 11 trophies in his career, the first one not from the ATP 250 category.

For a long time Rude was waiting for a slightly bigger title, although during his career he played in the finals of serious tournaments such as Roland Garros (2), US Open, Monte Carlo, Miami, Torino.

This was the fifth duel between Rood and Tsitsipas and the third victory for the Norwegian.

The next tournament for both will be the Masters in Madrid, which is scheduled from April 24 to May 5.
