Karate athlete Emil Pavlov has fulfilled the norm for participation in the 2023 European Games

One of the best Macedonian karatekas has officially completed the form to participate in The European Games which will be organized this year in Poland.

Emil Pavlov and the only Macedonian karateka with a third participation in the European Games.

- It is a great honor and privilege for me that I will have the opportunity for the third time in a series of European games to represent Macedonia at the highest level. I am very grateful to everyone who believes in me and the support for fulfilling this norm - says Pavlov.

The Macedonian karate player will perform in the -67 kg category, and in the competition to win medals are Steven Da Costa (France), Dionysios Xenos (Greece), Burak Uygur (Turkey), Tural Agalaradze (Azerbaijan), Ives Martial Tadisi (Hungary). ) and Milos Sabicki (Poland).

A reminder that at the European Games held in Baku in 2015, Pavlov won a bronze medal (-60 kg), as well as Martin Nesrtorovski in the +84 kg category.

The European Games in Poland will be held from June 21 to July 2, 2023, with 48 countries expected to participate and compete in 26 sports.
