What a mother, what a daughter: The new generation of Macedonian models enters the scene
You know how they say, "What a mother, what a daughter." In this case, it is: as a mother supermodel, so a daughter model.
In the fashion industry, it is common for children to follow in their parents' footsteps. It can take years to break into a field such as modeling, so a parent who has already done so can really help a young model's career. At the same time, many supermodels pass on their photogenic features to their children.

Supermodels of the '70s,' 80s and '90s are now watching their kids grow - and many of them are following in their footsteps. With well-known examples such as Kaya Gerber and the Hadid sisters, their model lineage has had a profound effect on their lives. But in addition to following the same path in their careers, they have also shown in many moments how much they want to be like their mothers.

From those days, many of the famous faces from this set of models "graduated" on the catwalks to start businesses and start their own families. Now, decades later, names like Crawford and Moss have passed on the modeling torch to their daughters, many of whom may eventually become better known than their mothers.

In this game of model names and faces, obvious young players come to mind such as Kaya Gerber, Georgia May Jagger, Lila Grace Moss-Huck, Sailor Lee Brinkley-Cook and, of course, Gigi and Bella Hadid. They all boast impressive resumes and are cream de la creme in a legacy of amazing genes.
To the delight of many fans, some model duos of mother and daughter even walked the catwalks together.

Although any comparison of the domestic with the international fashion scene is ungrateful, we can still mention such examples in our country. Among the current Macedonian models, several of them are currently the heirs of their mothers' careers.
Elena Rei is perhaps the most successful Macedonian model with a long-term significant international career largely due to the genes but also to the dedication and courage of her mother Renata who was a model in her youth.
The twenty-year-old Iman Totic, has been making a breakthrough on the fashion scene for a year now, initially here and now in London. The beauty is obviously inherited from her mother Aleksandra Petrovska who we remember as Miss Macedonia in 1996 and who as a specific character successfully worked as a model and participated in music videos.
The sixteen-year-old Matea Chekarov takes the first steps on the fashion floor. Her mother Sashka Pavlovska will be part of the cult Macedonian model team in the late 90s and early 2000s. He will pass on his experience, talent and beauty to his daughter, so they will make her first session together, where under safe guidance she will receive first-hand instructions.
Anastasia Bogdanovska will step on the catwalk as soon as she walks and will have her first photo session at the age of four, then take a break until the age of 18 when she will step on the show of her mother Snezana Bogdanovska, who as a model is part of the first team of Macedonian top models, and then for a short period to make fashion shows and editorials, some of which will be common as the only generational link in our country.
