Given the fact that the Barbie movie has been talked about for years, there is finally room for Gosling to join the crew that should finally start shooting next year. Ryan's busy schedule is currently filled with activities around the filming of "The Gray Man" with Chris Evans, of which he is also the producer, and which will have its premiere in 2022.

It is also known that the director of the film will be Greta Gerwig, who also worked on "Little Woman" and "Ladybird". Gervig's partner, producer Noah Baumach, co-wrote the screenplay.
