PE Water and Sewerage - Skopje appeals to all users of the services of the company, ie the sewerage system, not to dispose of waste materials that are not subject to decomposition (such as wet wipes, nylons,), household items and bulky waste, in order to protect the system, its normal functionality and prevention of clogging and spillage of wastewater.

- This morning, the teams of the Sewerage sector, on st. Nikola Rusinski worked on cleaning and unloading manholes clogged as a result of wet wipes, boards and rods, ie irresponsible behavior of users. We appeal to stop this irresponsible behavior for the benefit of all users, as well as to protect the environment in which we live. The danger of such behavior is not only a threat to the sewerage system, but also a threat to the environment and human health, pointed out by the Sewerage sector.

We urge citizens to act responsibly towards waste selection, recycling and proper disposal. We appeal to the citizens to address the bulky waste to the municipal communal services or to the Public Enterprise Communal Hygiene.
