Ss. Kliment Ohridski ”- Bitola (UKLO) started a procedure for election of a new Rector whose term will take place for a period of three years, ie in the period from October 1 this year until September 30, 2025.

The selection of free direct and secret elections will be made by the members of the teaching-scientific, scientific and teaching councils of the units, ie the members of UKLO-Bitola.

The candidate for Rector should be a full professor and propose a program for work and development of the University for a term of three years.

As it is known, the second Macedonian university was constituted on April 25, 1979, and since December 8, 1994 it has been named the University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”-Bitola.

The members of UKLO-Bitola are the Faculty of Economics in Prilep, Technical Faculty-Bitola, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality-Ohrid, Biotechnical Faculty-Bitola, Faculty of Pedagogy-Bitola, Tobacco Institute-Prilep, Hydrobiological Institute-Ohrid, -Prilep, NI University Library "St. Kliment Ohridski", Medical School, Faculty of Law-Kicevo, Faculty of Technology-Veles, Faculty of Veterinary-Bitola, Faculty of Security-Skopje and Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies-Bitola.

The University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”-Bitola has its own coat of arms and flag, and which candidate will wear the rector's insignia, the rector's toga and the solemn cloak will be known after the direct elections that will soon be held at the university.
