Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa said today that Europe would not pay Russia in rubles, after Moscow demanded that "enemy countries" pay their oil and gas bills in Russian currency.

"I do not think anyone in Europe knows what the ruble looks like, no one will pay in rubles," Jansa told reporters after arriving at a summit of EU leaders in Brussels.
