Macedonian football player Jani Atanasov signed a new contract with the team of Hajduk Split for another year, ie until the summer of 2023.

Our 22-year-old liaison player in this Croatian team arrived in September 2020 and since then he has played in 47 official matches, scored four goals and recorded two assists.

- I am very happy that I extended my contract with Hajduk and that I will be part of this project in the coming period. From the first day in Split I feel wonderful and it is a great honor to wear the jersey of this great club with the best fans in the world.

I feel great responsibility and challenge to restore that trust with good games and successes of the team and I believe that this season together we will rejoice in successes - said Atanasov after the extension of the agreement.

Currently on the table in the Croatian championship Hajduk is in fourth place with 35 points, behind the leading trio Dinamo Zagreb, Rijeka and Osijek who have 40 each.
