Janev for "BBC": Macedonia actively fights against human trafficking and migrant smuggling
On the last working day of the four-day Interpol General Assembly held in the Scottish city of Glasgow (England), the head of the Bureau of Public Security at the Ministry of the Interior, Aleksandar Yanev, gave an interview to "BBC" devoted, among other things, to the successfully implemented international operation of Interpol - LIBERTERRA II, in which hundreds of member states of Interpol participated at different levels, and focused on fighting and preventing organized human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
Janev said that the Macedonian police will continue to undertake joint coordinated actions in the fight against crime, the suppression of organized criminal groups, the arrest of perpetrators, as well as the rescue and protection of victims.
