The professor from the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Drage Dabeski, in his medical report that he prepared for the case of the mother Jaldz Veaposka who went to give birth by caesarean section and was left without a uterus, ovary and kidney, states that the three accused doctors from the hospital in Struga did everything to save Veaposka's life. He prepared the expert report at the request of the defendants and the finding is contradictory compared to the one prepared by the Institute of Forensic Medicine. Veaposka told "Sloboden Pechat" that not only is it not true that her life was saved, but she was disabled.

- In his expert testimony, he says that the accused doctors saved my life by removing my organs and by making me half human. How did they save my life when they sent me to Skopje, I went to bed for surgery and was in a coma for 14 days? I don't know how I got back on my feet and I am grateful to the doctors at the clinic in Skopje, but not to these doctors here who ruined my life. They made me disabled, a woman who can no longer give birth and I can no longer have children, said Veaposka.

Dabeski, on the other hand, claimed that Veaposka was in a life-threatening condition due to bleeding from the renal artery, but the decision whether to remove the kidney was up to the surgeons.

According to him, the first accused Muhammed Asani, a gynecologist-obstetrician specialist, the second accused Blairton Asani, a doctor-specialist in gynecology and obstetrics and the third accused Liljana Jovanoska, a gynecologist-obstetrician, who are charged with serious crimes against human health, used appropriate means during the treatment , they did not make mistakes and saved a young life.

Sasho Janev, Veaposka's lawyer indicated that the expert report from the Institute of Forensic Medicine indicates that many things were missed during the operation.

– The defendants will have to answer for the actions they took and for the actions they did not take. And the court itself, I believe, will be interested in establishing the truth, how is it possible for a pregnant woman to enter the operating room healthy and straight, and come out without three organs. We will clear up that mystery with the verdict. It is virtuous for the accused to say how guilty they are for removing the organs, Janev said.

The court will reconcile the expert findings from Dabeski and from Forensic Medicine, which are contradictory, and will decide whether a super-expert examination will be conducted.

The next hearing is scheduled for April 23 and experts from the Institute of Forensic Medicine will be called.
