As well as Luka Stankovski, so too Adis Jahovi. is one of the Macedonian footballers who play in Turkey. Jahović is part of the Bodrumspor team and luckily there is no danger in the area where he is, but in the affected areas the situation is critical.

The former representative of Macedonia described the situation in a statement "Sportski.mk".

"These are crisis moments in Turkey, the media, televisions all show what happened in the cities affected by the earthquake. We also have friends who play in that part of Turkey.

The legendary goalkeeper Volkan Demirel sent an emotional message on social networks, and Jahović had contact with him as well.

"We heard from Volkan Demirel, three people are missing from Hatayaspor. The left back who played at Chelsea (Christian Atsu), the sports director and another assistant coach. Also in Malatyaspor, where I played, the second goalkeeper is missing (Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan).

"Help is coming from everywhere, I appeal to Macedonia if it is possible to collect as many packages and help for the affected cities. That help is very much needed, it is being helped from all parts... We have made contacts in Germany to collect some kind of help. The situation is critical, but as I have been following for about an hour now, the earthquakes have stopped. Until an hour ago there were earthquakes every five minutes. Many buildings, somewhere around 2.800 to 3.000 buildings have fallen, thousands have lost their lives, and there are still many missing."

"In our part, here in Bodrum where I live, there is no danger for now. "Only the upper part of Turkey is affected and that's where the danger is, it's peaceful, but you can't know what's going to happen, you can't run away from what's from God," Jahović said.
