They won the local government, and again they "suck" from the central one

However, it is not only the warming that is the responsibility of the city, but also the air pollution that poisons us this winter, just like in the time of the previous mayor.

VMRO-DPMNE won the local elections promising effective management of the municipalities, meeting the needs of citizens, major projects that will improve the lives of the population, and their mayors as soon as they took their seats asked for help and money from the central government. From the same one for which their leadership daily pours a load of accusations of incompetence.

The winter has not shown its teeth yet, and ZELS, led by the mayor of Skopje Danela Arsovska, has no program to solve the problem of heating in Skopje and other municipalities.

Although he announced in the pre-election period that there is a solution for everything, things just needed to be well managed, when he faced difficulties on the ground, he asked the Government for help. "The government should take responsibility and help the municipalities," Danela Arsovska said, assessing the situation as alarming and warning of a possible reduction in services.

Prime Minister-designate Kovacevski blamed the lack of diligence of the city authorities for the problem with the central heating, but still announced measures to resolve the situation. "The government will not allow the residents of Skopje to be left without central heating this winter. "The entire infrastructure and heating service with central heating is under the jurisdiction of the city of Skopje and he should have envisaged measures that, obviously, are not provided," said Kovacevski.

Although the City of Skopje and the municipalities within the city are responsible for creating conditions for continuous heat supply, the Government, due to their failure to take measures to deal with the situation, again met the needs of citizens in order to ensure continuity and security of heat supply. energy.

Namely, the citizens of Skopje and the municipalities in the city will not pay higher bills for heating, because the Government offers to pay 80 percent and proposes the municipalities to pay the remaining 20 percent of the increased part of the bill. This, in practice, means that the Government on behalf of the consumers who are users of heat, ie households and public institutions, will pay the funds to BEG, and BEG will reduce the bills of consumers.

The Ministry of Finance provided a favorable loan of 8 million euros with which BEG can purchase gas for central heating for Skopje residents, said Prime Minister-designate Dimitar Kovacevski and added that for the loan BEG should offer a guarantee under market banking services. If that does not happen, Kovacevski said that the option of temporarily taking over the work with companies that have licenses for providing thermal energy is being considered.

The Minister of Economy, Kreshnik Bekteshi, on the other hand, announced that BEG could remain without a license if it does not deliver heat to the people of Skopje.

However, it is not only the warming that is the responsibility of the city, but also the air pollution that poisons us this winter, just like in the time of the previous mayor. But the new local government, after becoming the government, realized that "pollution arose from several segments", that the problem of solving air pollution is a systemic problem and that the solution should come from the Government!

Well, wasn't Shilegov the culprit? Where does the Government come from now ?!

The Mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, considers the cleaning of illegal landfills as the greatest success in reducing pollution. "Actively in two months," he said, "we have cleared over 120 landfills."

He may have cleaned the landfills, but he did not clean the air and we are still poisoned by polluted air.

Arsovska will also submit the requests of the private public transporters to the Government in order to find a solution that will help them. The city certainly has no money for new buses in JSP.

It is becoming obvious that this is the strategy of the opposition: to govern locally, but for the problems of the citizens to be solved by the central government.

If, on the other hand, the Government does not do that, then "early parliamentary elections are needed and the election of a new government that will fight against air pollution", say from VMRO-DPMNE.

What would you say: "Nothing new in the West, old stories in the East!"
