By adopting a Declaration for political action, the Alliance for Albanians (AA) of President Arben Taravari concluded its fifth extraordinary congress tonight in Tetovo. As Taravari stated, the Declaration is an upgrade of the existing one from 2022 and will be a political roadmap until 2026.

According to Taravari, the changes are necessary because now the party is part of the government.

The central assembly of the party was unanimously elected at the congress.

- After the election of the women's forum of the party, now with the congress and the definition of the central assembly, I can already say that AA is completely reorganized and completed as one of the strongest Albanian parties. We have the next period left, I hope in two to three weeks the central assembly will elect the central presidency of the party and then we will continue with meetings with citizens, where our officials and I will have to give an account of what we have done in the first 100 days and the first 6 months of our reign, Taravari pointed out after the congress ended.

The declaration contains 12 points, and in them it is said that as a party in the Government, AA will promote Western models of governance with zero tolerance for corruption and violent extremism.

- The central figures in the party should be the people who every day do a political battle with other citizens where they explain our cause. These are the branch presidents, our membership, we are open. After May 8, not to mention hundreds of our former party members who, unfortunately, were on the other side during the elections, are now joining us. Our doors are open and everyone is always welcome, except for a few who I don't think will help themselves to come and join where the vast majority of the membership is, Taravari said.

The Declaration states that "as a political force, AA has brought change to Albanians after 22 years of crime and extortion", and its commitment to the consistent implementation of the 2030 Plan of the "Worth" coalition, as well as the Government's Program, is indicated.

- It is important for us that the citizens are satisfied with the management of our personnel, so I hope that we will make and we have already made the best possible solutions for the management of the institutions. After all, it is important for the citizen to be satisfied with the person who manages the institutions. We will change our directors, those who fail to manage the institutions well. So far, several have been replaced, we are not in a hurry to appoint, although the majority have already been appointed, we are synchronizing, cooperating and slowly appointing all the positions we have. After 6 months we will sit down again and review the performance of our directors, ministers, deputy ministers and everyone else. If somewhere we think it needs to be improved, we will improve those who work well, we will only support them and give them more space, so they can work even better, Taravari said.

The Extraordinary Fifth Congress was under the motto "Change Continues".
