A 57-year-old man from Skopje was found dead last night next to a burned-out truck with a trailer on the Veles-Skopje highway, at a place called "Pusta kula", the Ministry of Interior announced.

-On 15.03.2025 at 00.45, the Veles Internal Affairs Directorate was reported that on the Veles-Skopje highway, at a place called "Pusta kula", a fire broke out in a Mercedes truck with a trailer, with Skopje license plates, and a deceased N.V. (57) from Skopje was found near the vehicle, the Ministry of Interior states.

A doctor from the Veles Emergency Medical Service confirmed death without visible traces of violence, and a team from the Veles Territorial Fire Department extinguished the fire.

Upon authorization from the public prosecutor, an inspection team from the Veles SVR conducted an inspection of the scene. Upon order from the public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was sent for an autopsy.
