The fire that broke out tonight in the modular hospital in Tetovo was extinguished. Witnesses to the event say there is more injured and dead, but this has not yet been officially confirmed.

Police removed those present and an inspection is expected to begin at any moment to determine the cause of the fire.

- I am informed that the fire broke out very quickly and spread quickly. I have no information about possible victims, we will certainly be officially informed about that. I absolutely regret that these are sick people who have been here for treatment. Information from the police and the hospital is still expected, said the mayor of Tetovo, Teuta Arifi.

The Minister of Health Venko Filipce announced on Twitter that after the information about the fire he went to Tetovo, after which he published a new tweet that there are victims in the terrible accident in the hospital.
