A prisoner from Prison-Shtip escaped from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Clinical Hospital in Shtip last night around 1:30 a.m. published "Thelma".

The escape of the 48-year-old convict is confirmed by the director of Zatvor-Shtip, Miki Todorov and the spokeswoman of the Clinical Hospital in Shtip, Marina Shumanska.

"We are talking about a 48-year-old patient who had to have a screw removed from his hip today, at 1.30:XNUMX a.m. he called that he was going to go out for air, but the patient left the building after the elevator and lost track of him," says Shumanska.

The director of the Stip prison, Todorov, says that it is a convict who is a returnee, and he has one year and five months left to serve his prison sentence. Disciplinary proceedings will be initiated for the two prison officers who were supposed to guard him in the hospital and they will probably be suspended until the disciplinary proceedings are resolved.
