The Italian Santarelli is the new coach of the Serbian volleyball players
The current coach of the Italian champion Imoko Volley Connellano, Daniele Santarelli is the new selector of the women's national team of Serbia. Santarelli signed a contract with the Volleyball Federation of Serbia until 2025, and replaces Zoran Terzic who led the volleyball players for 20 years.
- It is an honor and privilege for me to be the coach of the women's national team of Serbia, which is one of the best in the world. I followed their games last year and I really admire their results and the constant desire to win that steals them. "We will try to maintain the continuity of good results," said Santarelli, 41.
Daniele Santarelli won four Italian titles, three Italian Cups, four Italian Super Cups and one Champions League and one Club World Cup each with Conneliano.
The Italian has coaching experience, he sat on the bench of the Croatian national team from 2018 to 2022.
